Turn off the Dell 2350
Hold Down the Left Arrow Key (<) and the Select Button (√). While holding down those two button turn the power to the printer on.
Once the printer starts, the display will show the memory and MHZ on the control panel.
Release the two buttons
The control panel will display Diag Menu at the top and Registration at the bottom.
Hit the Select Button (√)
Top Margin will be displayed. Hit the Select Button (√)
Check the value displayed on the left side of the screen. The default value should be 4.
If the value is not 4 use the Arrow Keys (< or >) to correct the value.
Once you have set Top Margin to the appropriate setting press the Select Button (√). The screen should display "Submitting Changes"
When the screen displays Top Margin again press the Right Arrow Key (>) until Bottom Margin is displayed.
Hit the Select Button (√)
Check the value displayed on the left side of the screen. The default value should be 2.
If the value is not 2 use the Arrow Keys (< or >) to correct the value.
Once you have set Bottom Margin to the appropriate setting press the Select Button (√). The screen should display "Submitting Changes"
When the screen displays Bottom Margin again press the Right Arrow Key (>) until Left Margin is displayed.
Hit the Select Button (√)
Check the value displayed on the left side of the screen. The default value should be 1.
If the value is not 1 use the Arrow Keys (< or >) to correct the value.
Once you have set Left Margin to the appropriate setting press the Select Button (√). The screen should display "Submitting Changes"
When the screen displays Left Margin again press the Right Arrow Key (>) until Right Margin is displayed.
Hit the Select Button (√)
Check the value displayed on the left side of the screen. The default value should be 0.
If the value is not 0 use the Arrow Keys (< or >) to correct the value.
Once you have set Right Margin to the appropriate setting press the Select Button (√). The screen should display "Submitting Changes"
These defaults do not work on every printer. You may need to adjust the margin settings a little bit more in some direction.
